Review by hotel critic
If you're searching for a peaceful retreat, Robyn's Nest Lakeside Resort could be a wise choice. While it feels a bit remote, a newly paved path leads right to Merimbula's charming boardwalk, only a short walk away. Our spacious unit came with a cozy kitchen-perfect for preparing some of our own meals, which we enjoyed on our balcony as we soaked in the natural beauty around us. The property's lovely gardens provide a serene setting, and the pool and spa are great for relaxation after a day of exploration. Our kids had their own space, which brought much-needed peace for us parents. The Goodenia Restaurant was an added bonus, boasting an impressive wine list and tasty dishes. While the off-season meant some facilities weren't open, we still found value in the comforts and cooking options, not to mention the thrill of spotting whales nearby.
